Overview & Objectives:
Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) is a cross-platform scripting language that is particularly well-suited for web development. In this course, you'll get an introduction to the fundamentals of the PHP language. You'll learn to set up PHP on a server and continue through most of the common server-side functionality incorporated in modern web sites. The course uses a MySQL
database and includes a demonstration of how to use PHP to work with other databases as well. You will also get an introduction to the advanced aspects of the PHP language and how to best utilize PHP 5's object-oriented capabilities, and you'll cover some Unified Modeling Language (UML) and design patterns.
